Cities of Sigmar Misthåvn

At last the infantry for my Cities of Sigmar army is complete. This group hails from the city that captured my imagination when the revamped Cities were released: the shadowy city of Misthåvn, which is made from hundreds of sailing ships moored together. Loads more pics and background below the jump...

The Quest-Seeker Court of King Merryjohn

I'm deep into two "main" projects, and of course I had to add another side project into the mix. What if the Flesh-Eater Courts... were nice? They certainly think they are, and I wanted to indulge them in that. Pics and info about the Court of King Merryjohn below the jump...

Throne Of Blood

Blasting back into blogging with the ferocity of a tank-mounted daemon. I hope this smashbashed Blades of Khorne Herald of Khorne on Blood Throne will make up for my long absence.

Beasts of Chaos update - new kitbashes and Folk Horrors

I've been adding to one of my favourite running projects, my Beasts of Chaos gang. Now I've completed the second unit of Ungors and added a Smashbash monster and some fantastic new metal sculpts from Gardens of Hecate and Andrew May Meridian Miniatures. More pics below the jump.

Auctioning some finished warband projects for charity

It's time to free up some space for new projects, and raise some money for good causes in the process. I'm putting up four complete Warhammer warbands for auction starting tonight and lasting one week. All proceeds go to LGBT charities in the UK. Check below the jump for  details and the links to eBay...

Beasts of Chaos Bbrogganogh

Something I put together last year - a monstrous mounted Gor champion on an utterly horrendous monstrous mount. Pictures, lore, and Warscroll below the jump...

Beasts of Chaos Ungors

I'm picking up a project I started last year - some truly wretched Beasts of Chaos. The goal was always to make two ten-strong units of Ungors with accompanying heroes and a Herdstone. This month I'm working on finishing that second Ungor unit, with a few extra curveball conversions. Plenty more pictures and a deep dive into the process below the jump...

Beasts of Chaos Tree of Woe (Herdstone)

A centerpiece for my Beasts of Chaos project, and the first piece of terrain I've worked on! More pics and background below the jump...

Beasts of Chaos Great Bray-Shaman

A character to lead my Age of Sigmar Beasts of Chaos warband. While the rest of the band is a gaggle of assorted bugbears and cryptids, this one has something crafty and witch-like about it...

Beasts of Chaos

It's been a little while, hasn't it? Just in time to avoid a full six months of no posts, here's a new project I've been working on. A weird Beasts of Chaos army for Age of Sigmar. More pictures and lore below the jump.

Followers of Obol

Here's a rag tag bunch of misfits for you. Close behind the Greater Daemon of Obol I made for #28magchallenge, here's some of Obol's followers. A mix of daemons, mortals, and other unfortunate creatures.

Greater Daemon of Obol, Chaos God of the Old World

#28magchallenge is back with another great prompt, and of course I had to make something for it. This time participants were invited to create a fifth Chaos god. So here's my scratch-built contribution, a Greater Daemon of the Chaos God of the Old World. More pics and story below the jump...

Age of Sigmar Moon Aelf Skywarden

With a new #28magchallenge starting, I put in the time to finish the last remaining model in the Moon Aelves project I made for the last challenge. Faeries from the moon of course need a craft to ferry them down to the Mortal Realms, so here's a flying boat. More pics after the jump.

Tutorial - Painting Moon Aelf Silver

Several people were interested in my painting process for the weathered silver armour on the Moon Aelves I built for the #28magchallenge last year. I finally got round to painting the last Aelf of the group so here's (at long last) a breakdown of the process.

Warcry Nighthaunt "Screaming Fragments"

Warcry is certainly growing on me as a Warhammer setting. I had fun making the Worms of Paradise ghouls warband so soon after that I started on some Nighthaunt – the Screaming Fragments.

AoS Relic Lizardmen Part 12: More skinks!

Five new Skinks brings this little Skink regiment up to a full 10 models at last! More pics below the jump.

WIPs – What's Hek Up To in Late 2019?

It's been a busy year for my hobby desk! I've gotten full into the hobby butterfly style and have several things on the go at once, so here's what's in the pipeline that I'm planning to finish before the end of the year.

Custom Warcry Cards for Worms of Paradise

I'm thrilled that the Worms of Paradise got such a positive reception on Instagram! My thoughts are still in the Worms' world of flesh horror so I tried my hand at something new, namely illustrating some custom fighter cards for them.

Warcry Flesheater Courts "Worms of Paradise"

I felt like making something really unpleasant. Here's the Worms of Paradise, a group of Ghurish Flesheater Courts Ghouls for Warcry.
