Many of the trees in the forests of the Realm of Life are ensouled. ◌߲᭳◌߲ᚙ᳀ ߷꙰゚๏⃝᪱꙰゚༓⃝⃘߲᭳

Unfortunately in the tumultuous Ages of Strife many, many trees were felled and passed away. ⁛⃘᭳֎۞⃘꙰ഀ۞⏣゚߲᭳ഀ⏣۞⃘゚࡙᭳۞

The spirits of the trees pass of course into the Realm of Death where pale forests of ghosts bloom in swathes and sometimes flicker and wander the lands. ࿌⃘߷⃝꙰゚߷࡙⃝๏꙰ ҉

Instead they can enter an altered state through the use of ritual and hallucinogenic medicines. ⁜゚࿋⃘꙰࿋⃝᭳
