Cities of Sigmar Misthåvn

At last the infantry for my Cities of Sigmar army is complete. This group hails from the city that captured my imagination when the revamped Cities were released: the shadowy city of Misthåvn, which is made from hundreds of sailing ships moored together. New Necrons

One of my favourite projects is the Necron warband I made for #Kitbashember 2018. In fact I enjoyed making them so much that after making something for each of the #Kitbashember prompts I went right ahead and made another model. At the time I even had a couple more ideas that I never got round to, and finally I've found the time and the right bits to make them work. Here's some new Necrons.

#Kitbashember 21-24 Necron Monolith

Today's #Kitbashember prompt is "Sneaky/Carrier". I chose to interperet "Carrier" as a personnel carrier, although I've seen other amazing kitbashes taking it to mean an equipment-carrying trooper. So what's a Necron's preferred transport? A sneaky portal-bearing Monolith of course...

"Elephant Seal" Rhino Variant

The Slaanesh Space Marine squad needed a big center-piece model. I decided on a transport vehicle, and of course I couldn't resist tinkering with it.

There are two undercurrent styles to the models in this squad: extravagant, and brutally efficient. This Rhino variant is the latter: a boxy battering ram designed to crash into the enemy and disgorge a load of evil Space Marines. I imagine it to be a rare, outdated and not very popular Rhino variant pattern called an Elephant Seal.
