I'm returning again to my favourite GW setting, the cursed city of Mordheim. Here's two new sets of models - each a knight and retainer - and some new scenery with them. Necropolis Ascended Undead

I recently read the rules for Necropolis for the first time, and was inspired by its grim vision of a dark fantasy world of undead. I love rules for building a warband, so I dug into Necropolis's versatile list of undead characters and was inspired to build a hulking Ascended Undead. In fact the enthusiasm for making something really grim and gribbly caught me, and I bashed this monstrosity together over the course of about two consecutive days. Single day scratchbuild for #onedayinq28th challenge: a #turnip28 trooper

Shout out to @kitbashcat on Instagram who arranged a one-day #inq28 conversion challenge titled #OneDayInq28th. Basically build and paint a converted model from scratch without planning in one day. Today's #Kitbashember prompt is "Sneaky/Carrier". I chose to interperet "Carrier" as a personnel carrier, although I've seen other amazing kitbashes taking it to mean an equipment-carrying trooper. So what's a Necron's preferred transport? A sneaky portal-bearing Monolith of course...
