This one's been a long time coming. Inspired by @court_of_the_yellow_king's #RogueTrader28 idea, I started kitbashing this group of Space Slann in early 2023. Kicking off 2022 with a strange little project - a slightly crazy idea that I wanted to get done in one quick streak before the inspiration vanished. Here's a small squad of Aeldari Harlequins. More pictures and background below the jump.

New Necrons

One of my favourite projects is the Necron warband I made for #Kitbashember 2018. In fact I enjoyed making them so much that after making something for each of the #Kitbashember prompts I went right ahead and made another model. At the time I even had a couple more ideas that I never got round to, and finally I've found the time and the right bits to make them work. Here's some new Necrons.

The Primogenitor – Terminator Hulk

Once again, Iron Sleet is invigorating the Inq28 scene with a new scenario, The Primogenitor. I was inspired to make an existential space horror piece to patrol the endless corridors of the space hulk.

A burly Necron brawler for #Kitbashember. What's a Necron Ibis Warrior? Let's say it counts as a Lychguard, which- according to Games Workshop- "are the wardens of the nobility, said to be utterly dedicated to their charges. While most Necrons wear a suit of living metal, the Lychguard wear huge suits of ancient armour."

Today's #Kitbashember prompt is "Sneaky/Carrier". I chose to interperet "Carrier" as a personnel carrier, although I've seen other amazing kitbashes taking it to mean an equipment-carrying trooper. So what's a Necron's preferred transport? A sneaky portal-bearing Monolith of course...

Another slot I almost skipped, #Kitbashember 18-21 is "Slave / Ally". I repurposed an old abandoned conversion to produce something new that doesn't really exist in the lore, a 40k Lammassu.
