Urshanabi, the Ferryman, was difficult to keep in one's field of vision. Nakhtnebtepnefer would turn, expecting Urshanabi to be behind him, to find the Ferryman instead hovering silently tens of meters directly above him. Urshanabi would never speak, and the force engines keeping him aloft were silent as a boat cutting through still water.
