One final Necron for the #Kitbashember warband: a Triarch Praetorian.
GW lore says Praetorians didn't enter stasis with the other Necrons and have been awak all the time the other Necrons have been asleep. Some installed themselves as deities on primitive worlds. So it was with Ougotlas, of Nakhtnebtepnefer's court. Once reunited with Ougotlas Prince Nakhtnebtepnefer didn't take kindly to Ougotlas's pretensions of authority and so had him broken up, and his cult dissolved as punishment. Thanks to the standard Praetorian anti-gravity abilities, Ougotlas is still able to move around without feet simply walking as if his limbs were still there, and wielding his two-handed spear as if his left arm was merely invisible instead of missing. Despite his punishment, he's still a loyal member of Nakhtnebtepnefer's court.

Now seems a good time to round up my Necrons project with some images that inspired it. Here's a selected Necron "moodboard":
Wayne Barlowe, "The Streets of Dis" |
Zdzislaw Beksinski |
HR Giger |
A Lammasu statue |
A victim of Pompeii |
The terracotta army |
An early Egyptian ushabti figure |

I think that wraps it up for the Necrons now unless I get another idea or more bits to work with! Thanks for following.
