Deathrattle Army - The Sons of Velmorn

The Sons of Velmorn from Warhammer Underworlds add some nice variety among the new GW skeleton designs. I painted them up in the colours of my Deathrattle horde and gave them some matching shields. Pics below the jump...

Throne Of Blood

Blasting back into blogging with the ferocity of a tank-mounted daemon. I hope this smashbashed Blades of Khorne Herald of Khorne on Blood Throne will make up for my long absence.

Necrons update

Recently I revisited one of my longest running projects, and one of my favourites to return to: Necrons. Pictures and info on all the new conversions I added below the jump...

Beasts of Chaos update - new kitbashes and Folk Horrors

I've been adding to one of my favourite running projects, my Beasts of Chaos gang. Now I've completed the second unit of Ungors and added a Smashbash monster and some fantastic new metal sculpts from Gardens of Hecate and Andrew May Meridian Miniatures. More pics below the jump.

Revisiting Space Wolves - Infantry Squads

Intercessor Squad Þorberg

In 2020, I took on a full 40k Space Wolves army as a lockdown project, the first time I'd approached a straightforward out-of-the-box project on this scale. I had something around 1500pts before I moved on to a Soulblight Gravelords army in 2021 and I always intended to revisit the Space Wolves. I'm finally doing that! This post will focus on the infantry squads that have received a fresh round of painting attention. Plenty of new pics below the jump...

Auctioning some finished warband projects for charity

It's time to free up some space for new projects, and raise some money for good causes in the process. I'm putting up four complete Warhammer warbands for auction starting tonight and lasting one week. All proceeds go to LGBT charities in the UK. Check below the jump for  details and the links to eBay...

Beasts of Chaos Bbrogganogh

Something I put together last year - a monstrous mounted Gor champion on an utterly horrendous monstrous mount. Pictures, lore, and Warscroll below the jump...

Beasts of Chaos Ungors

I'm picking up a project I started last year - some truly wretched Beasts of Chaos. The goal was always to make two ten-strong units of Ungors with accompanying heroes and a Herdstone. This month I'm working on finishing that second Ungor unit, with a few extra curveball conversions. Plenty more pictures and a deep dive into the process below the jump...

Harlequins - The Path of Gracelessness

Kicking off 2022 with a strange little project - a slightly crazy idea that I wanted to get done in one quick streak before the inspiration vanished. Here's a small squad of Aeldari Harlequins. More pictures and background below the jump.

Soulblight Vampires

Two very different vampire overseers for my Soulblight Gravelords force, adding some much-needed flesh and lots of blood to an otherwise very boney army. Pics and painting process below the jump...
